How we play is how we learn. Sometimes it is easier to go about the learning process by playing with people who have skill level at the same or lower set as we do. When we get into games like this we feel more confident and better prepared for what may come.

On Facebook I have been seeing a lot of people putting up: “Just starting to play, where do I start?” This is both exciting because of the influx of new blood; but also a difficult question. The Star Wars: Destiny we play now is different than the what we started playing 7 sets and 1 cycle ago. When we first started playing this game, it was characters, supports, and upgrades. You had those types of decks like Han Solo (AW46)/Rey (AW38) that were shield crazy and difficult to push through. Then the evolution to the Bala (AW19) trinity that had everyone frustrated. Then the invention of FN-2199 (SR2) that wanted everyone to flip a table or two.
Star Wars: Destiny and Fantasy Flight Games have dropped a lot on our plates over the last few days. The latest is the article today that contains some great spoilers. At first glance it is awesome to see an iconic piece of lore, like Order 66 (SH15), but could that spell the end of the Jedi? A once fearsome group now relegated to the sidelines because of new cards.

The Chance Cube is excited to announce an expansion in our blog. We used to be quite active article writers, but as time went on and things morphed and changed, our content output changed with it.
However, we are getting back to basics and we’ve also identified a gap in the larger content market… the casual perspective. We have a lot of different creative ideas in the works and hope to bring something special to our output while considering this direction.
