One of my favorite elements of Star Wars: Destiny is how richly the theme usually comes through. As a result of the rapid back and forth nature of the game, you often feel like your character truly are dueling it out with those of your opponents. However, there does seem to be something missing. As any Star Wars fan knows, part of what helps set such a rich theme in the movies, are the excellent soundtracks that accompany them, and to that end, I thought that I would try my hand at creating Battlefield Playlists to use during your games of Star Wars: Destiny.
Below, I have compiled playlists that are roughly 18-20 minutes in length for each of the battlefields that are currently available in the game. The titles for the playlists were selected based on scenes they accompany in the movie. For example, the Mos Eisley Spaceport (AW172) soundtrack includes a few noteworthy Tatooine tunes (and yes, the Cantina Band tracks are obviously two of them). The playlists were curated in Spotify and are linked below. These soundtracks are available through the website and the mobile app, however, if you are not a Spotify Premium subscriber, the tracks will unfortunately shuffle if you are using the app. In case you prefer to reassemble the playlists in a different music service, then you will find the tracks (in my recommended order) that I selected for each battlefield below the link. Finally, I recommend saving each of the playlists to your personal account so that when your opponent plays that pesky Hyperspace Jump (AW129), you can easily switch soundtracks as well.
